		<description>I&#039;ve stopped being suprised at the number of people who are suprised at this sort of thing.  I&#039;m definitely of a technical orientation (one of the reasons I got into SAP was the chance to get exposed to mul;tiple platforms / DBMS etc).

Regardless, I have always been aware that the toys I play with at &quot;work&quot; have to be paid for; I have to provide value, by fixing problems for the business, or the business will seperate me and my toys.  

In MBA speak, its the business, stupid. 

And while the technology changes quickly, so many of the business problems remain the same - mainly because &quot;business&quot; remains the same... A group of people, admittedly with different motives, wanting to do something together that they can all benefit from.</description>
