Add formating to your messages: Textile

Author: dick - Categories: Development - Tags:

It is now possible to add formatting to your ESME messages. Through the use of the Textile formatting language, you can create messages with bold, italic, etc.

Textile

For example, the messages in the top message were created with the following lines:

_emphasis_
*strong*
__italic__ **bold** ??citation??
-deleted text-
+inserted text+
^superscript^
~subscript~
%span%
@code@

We haven’t gotten all the Textile possibilitites  to work but we are trying to get as many as possible to be available for users.

Have fun.

Meet the Jammers session from Berlin

Author: anne - Categories: Uncategorized - Tags: ,

DemoJam only gives each team six minutes to present their innovations on stage.
This is not much, so when we were given the opportunity to give a 45-minute “Meet the Jammers” in-depth session the following day in the Clubhouse Theater, we happily took it.

This session was streamed live on Ustream.tv, and gives you a deep dive into what makes ESME tick.

Courtesy of Thomas Jung’s Flickr, the above image provides a good indication of what ESME’s web client looks like in SAP Web Dynpro. Who would have thought a screen could look so cool in an SAP environment?

esme.us = esME+US, which kinda suggests that we’re all in this together. Sounds about right.
